the relaxing scent of tangerine

[Versione italiana – La leggerezza del profumo di mandarino]

A citrus fruit that cannot be missing from our tables in winter, the Mandarin (Citrus reticulata) is pleasing to both taste and smell.

Perhaps not everyone knows that Tangerin is considered one of the three citrus fruits from which all others originated; it is native to South-East Asia.

tangerin essential oil aromatherapy

The essence is extracted by squeezing the peel, resulting in a liquid with an intense fragrance and floral notes.

Its essential oil can be used in particular to perfume our rooms (living room, bedroom) and thus restore a sense of serenity and brightness to our home; floral, sometimes green notes can be recognised in its perfume. Diffused in the environment it gives a sensation of wellbeing and lightness; excellent for moments when you need a pleasant stress reliever.

You can add a drop of Roman Chamomile essential oil in diffusion to achieve a profound sense of relaxation. We will then smell the difference between the scent of Chamomile. deep, herbaceous, and that of Mandarin, light and volatile. This is why we can put 4-5 drops of Mandarin and one drop of Chamomile in the diffuser, which will provide a relaxing background.
